Energy saving lightbulbs (ESL) and the use of dimmers

energy saving lightbulb: GLOBE, ESL, not dimmable

energy saving lightbulb: ESL, not dimmable
! important: Do not use normal energy saving lightbulbs
with light fixtures that are fitted with dimmers.

energy saving lightbulb: ESL, stepless dimmable
! important: Use only with leading-edge phase dimmers.

LED-retrofit-lamp:
- not dimmable, 200 - 1200 lumen
- dimmable, 200 - 1200 lumen

All lights are delivered without lighting elements.
CE-Declaration
It certifies the conformity of our lighting collection
to the European Mark.
Safety Class I
A light fitting whose safety is guaranteed by an additional
protective conductor (earth) connected with the metal frame
of the lamp.
Safety Class II
Light fittings whose safety is guaranteed by the double
reinforced insulation of conductive parts, with no earth.
Safety Class III
Lighting fitting with protection against shock - based on the
very low voltage of the power supply (usually 12 or 24V)
and in which higher voltages are not produced.
Installation
Suitability for direct mounting on normal flammable surfaces.
Distance to an illuminated object
This symbol recommrnds the minimum distance to be kept
from the illuminated object.
Voltage
All lights are useable for 230 Volt / 50 Hertz voltage.
Degree of Protection IP
Electric fittings are preset in order to prevent the intrusion and contact with
solids and liquids with live parts. Resistance against penetration of solids
and liquids is expressed by the initials IP, followed by two digits that stand
for the degree of protection: the first referring to solids, the second to liquids.
First digit code
0 Non protected.
1 Protected against the penetration of solid objects larger than 50 mm.
2 Protected against the penetration of solid objects larger than 12 mm.
3 Protected against the penetration of solid objects larger than 2,5 mm.
4 Protected against the penetration of solid objects larger than 1 mm.
5 Protected against the penetration of dust.
6 Completely protected against the penetration of dust.
Second digit code
0 Non protected.
1 Protected against the vertical fall of water drops.
2 Protected against the fall of water at a maximum angel of 15°.
3 Protected against rain.
4 Protected against water spray from all directions.
5 Protected against water jets.
6 Protected against heavy seas.
7 Sealed against immersion up to 1 metre.
8 Sealed against submersion over 1 metre.

Materials and Colors
Attributes
CHINTZ - fabric
Chintz is a specially coated cotton which is laminated using
white PVC-foil for strength.
PLISSÉ - fabric
A narrow ribbon is folded closely and repeatedly over a firm
wire frame, giving this Plissé shade its structure.
Soft PLISSÉ - fabric
Soft Plissé-fabric is folded and mechanically pressed, which gives
it its structure. This Plissé is strengthened by a thin white PVC-foil.
Stretch - fabric
Stretch-fabric is an elastic cotton, like elastane, and therefore
it can be used for a great variety of lighting.
GLASS, opal
Our glass-shades are hand blown in the traditional way thus attaining
an opal-white, satin surface.
